Dr Xuejun Pan获得天津科技大学博士(1993)和Hokkaido University (Japan, 1999)后曾先后在Georgia Tech (USA, 2000-2001)、University of Minnesota (USA, 2001-2002)和University of British Columbia (Canada, 2002-2006)从事博士后研究工作。已在Energy & Environmental Science、ChemSusChem、Biotechnology for Biofuels、Biomacromolecules、Journal of Food Engineering和Biotechnology and Bioengineering等国际主流杂志上发表文章70多篇，被引4300余次，h-index为33。Dr Pan目前为BioEnergy Research杂志副主编。
